Amber Brown, APRN, CNP, PMHNP-BC is an exceedingly compassionate and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified (PMHNP-BC) with over 17 years of comprehensive nursing experience, including 13 years dedicated to psychiatry. Renowned for her empathetic approach and unwavering dedication to mental health, Amber is deeply committed to enhancing the quality of life and well-being of individuals through a holistic, patient-centered approach.

Amber began her journey in healthcare at Langston University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2007. Her nursing career took root at Integris Mental Health, where she discovered her passion for mental health care. During her tenure as a registered nurse, Amber worked closely with children, adolescents, and adults, supporting them in navigating complex mental health challenges. This formative experience shaped her understanding of the profound impact of compassionate and effective mental health care.

Motivated to deepen her expertise and expand her scope of practice, Amber pursued advanced education at Maryville University, earning a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Psychiatry in 2020. Graduating with honors, she demonstrated her commitment to academic excellence and clinical proficiency. Following her graduation, she achieved national certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

 

Throughout her career, Amber has remained dedicated to advancing the field of mental health nursing through continuous learning and advocacy. Her work embodies a blend of clinical excellence and heartfelt compassion. Amber is committed to fostering positive change and empowering individuals to lead fulfilling lives, and she continually strives to make a meaningful impact in the lives of her patients.
